Request for proposals are invited for Translation Of Lifeline Production Training Manual To Somali Dailects Of Maay And Maxaa Tiri SCOPE OF WORK · The consultant(s)will be required to translate approximately 25 pages of a training manual and ensure the design is in line with the original English version of the manual. · The consultant will adopt relevant images that are sensible in the Somali context, culture and where necessary document relevant consent forms. · The consultant(s)will use specific Somali words (in both Maay and Maxaa Tiri dialects) and sentences that are well structured and convey the same meaning, style and tone as the English version. · The consultant(s) (will use culturally appropriate and professional language that eliminates and limits the possibility of misunderstanding or confusion. · Ensure high quality editing of documents in Somali (both Maay and Maxaa Tiri dialects) including language, spelling, and grammar. · The consultant(s) shall remain in contact with the BBC Media Action for guidance and support. · The consultant(s) shall share draft copies of the translation with BBC Media Action who will assess the final copy for accuracy and design before it is approved. · Ensure timely submission of the translated document from English to Somali language dialects · Applicants must submit their detailed technical proposal, clear workplan and itemized budget. Applications prior or on the closing date and time mentioned below.
