- Expression of Interest are invited for Somalia Business Survey and Qualitative Assessment The World Bank Group (WBG) is looking for a qualified contractor to implement the 2022/23 Somalia Business Survey and Qualitative Assessment. The project will consist of two primary data collection components: i) an establishment-level survey (the Somali Business Surveys); and ii) a qualitative assessment. The establishment-level survey component involves conducting phone surveys with formally registered businesses from selected cities, using a questionnaire developed by the WBG. Tasks for component of the project involves, among others, identifying and securing relevant and up-to-date sample frames, translating the questionnaires into Somali, conducting over the phone interviews with business managers and/or owners. Further, the contractor is responsible for cleaning, and timely delivery of data. The Qualitative Assessment component of the project involves conducting in-person Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with some of the businesses interviewed as part of the Somalia Business Survey. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest.
