- Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation of Boreholes in Jariiban and Galdogob/Bursaalax Districts Project objectives Through the planned drought emergency response, CARE plans to carry out strategic borehole rehabilitation activities. The proposed rehabilitation actions will be based on the findings of the borehole technical assessment conducted by CARE WASH team. The repair works are intended to enhance improved water availability and uninterrupted water supply for both human and livestock populations during this drought time of increased water needs for vulnerable communities in Jariiban and Galdogob/Bursaalax districts of Mudug region. In relation to the proposed borehole rehabilitation works CARE expects high-quality work from the successful vendor/s in all the water points under this intervention in the realization of value for money. CARE WASH Engineers will provide the required BOQs and designs that are specific to each borehole based on the priority needs. Some of the key rehabilitation activities will include: Provision of submersible pump Replacement of the generator Repair/replacement of the water reticulation piping networks Construction/repair of the water storage facilities Construction/repair of water kiosks Construction/repair of livestock water troughs Construction/repair of a generator room
