- The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified vendors for the provision of Inventory and Warehouse Support Services in Somalia. The services are required at UNSOS warehouses established in Somalia (Mogadishu, Baidoa, Beletweyne, Jowhar, Kismayo, Dhobley) and in Kenya (a small warehouse is managed by UNSOS in Nairobi). UNSOS uses SAP software to manage inventory and RFID technology to monitor movement of cargo into and out of the warehouse yards. The services included:a) Warehouse and Yard Operation Services: Receiving Inventory, Internal Warehousing, Moving Inventory, Interfacing with Clients, Reporting, Processing Inventory for Outbounding and Delivery within UNSOS locations (2-5 km distance). b) Inventory Planning Support and Related Services: Assess and confirm the accuracy of inventory and continuously maintain high level of stock accuracy for high frequency and volume of warehouse transactions.c) Dangerous Gods Handling.d) Warehouse Cleaning and Safety.
