- Tenders are invited for Mechanical Desilting of Magalo-Cad Water Catchment. 1. MOBILIZATION 1.1. Plant and personnel Mobilization to site including setting up camp and demobilization. 1.2. Allow provisional sum for pumping water at reservoir bed during construction. 2. SITE CLEARANCE, EXCAVATION & EARTHWORKS: 2.1. Allow provisional sum for pumping water at reservoir bed during construction. 2.2. Using Bulldozer, excavate below the Editing pan level to a depth of 1.5m to désila and expand the pan reservoir area and cart away to spoil as directed by the engineer. 3. CONCRETE, MASONRY & AUXILIARY WORKS 3.1 Inlet 3.1.1 Allow for Excavating in normal soil to desilt and clear 2 No. inflow channels as appropriate 3.2 Silt Traps Excavate in normal soil to create 2 No. silt traps (at least 2m deep x 2 m wide x 20m long) located at the two inlet areas and cart away spoil as directed by the supervising engineer..
