- Tenders are invited for Implementation of Awareness Campaign for Strategies “We R TVET” and “Dhabada Guusha The project “Support to the Technical Vocational Education and Training Project Phase II” (TVET), co-financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU), with a duration from February 2018 until July 2023 and a potential extension until end October 2023. The project is implementing an innovative multi-level approach and combines formal and non-formal labour market-oriented vocational qualification offers in future-oriented sectors. It will consolidate and expand vocational training opportunities for Somali youth and adults, particularly in Benadir region, Jubaland, ‘Somaliland-, and Puntland. The TVET project will significantly contribute structural elements for the establishment of a uniform vocational education and training system in Somalia compared to the baseline situation, leading to the supply of skilled labour that covers the demand of the labour market in Somalia.
