- Civil Works-Abudwak Fodder Production.1. Project Overview: Water scarcity is a serious threat to Somalia and is hindering the country-s economic and social development. Throughout Somalia, trends of reduced surface water and groundwater reserves and increased occurrences of droughts and floods have been observed and are predicted to worsen. In response, GEF Integrated water resource management project support construction of Warehouse, Fodder production farm with chain link fencing, water distribution scheme and pipping to exploit their agro-pastoral value chains and increase their asset bases. UNDP is looking to acquire the services of qualified contractor for the purpose of supplying, installing and construction of rainwater harvesting system in Abudwak town, Galgaduud region, Galmudug state. 2. Objectives: The purpose of this project to support the construction and installation of the following activities. · Warehouse construction · Fencing construction · Land preparation for fodder · Pipping and irrigation systems 3.
