- Tenders are invited for 27.4 Km: Road Rehabilitation Major Works [Gelokor Bridge, Km 62+550 - Km 89+920 (27.4km) Sheikh-Berbera Road Rehabilitation Project (Lot 1 and Lot 2) The SDF Joint Steering Committee is currently considering a one-year extension from 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025. If the extension is approved, then the Ministry of Transport and Roads Development (MoTRD) will be allocated funds for the implementation of the Sheikh-Berbera Road Rehabilitation Project. As a part of this project, MoTRD intends to use parts of these funds to procure contractors to implement the following Works: Lot 1: 27.4 Km: Road Rehabilitation Major Works [Gelokor Bridge, Km 62+550 - Km 89+920 (27.4km)] Lot 2: 41.6 km: Road Rehabilitation Works and Pipe Culverts Replacement and Construction [Gelokor Bridge- Berbera roundabout, Km 90+000 - Km 131+537.5]
